What we're looking for!

We are looking for a talented computer graphics intern to join our small team full- or part-time in
Zwolle. The ideal candidate has a background in computational geometry, computer graphics, computer vision and lidar, as well as a passion for learning and exploring new technologies. You have graduated or are at the final stage of your studies.

What are you going to do?

We are developing solutions for converting scans of buildings’ interiors to geometries (scan-togeometry). The scans are captured by lidar scanners, and the data is point clouds (lidar) and images. Our workflows convert this data to meaningful geometries known as Building Information Models (BIM). You work with data scientists to convert the output of AI models to parametric 3D models. You use mesh and point clouds and reconstruct polyhedrons and Breps. Good understanding in geometry modeling and numerical optimization techniques is necessary. You like to wear different hats in a startup environment. You eager to document the progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer graphics, computer science, civil engineering,
geoscience or a related field
• Experience in Python and C++
• Experience with computational geometry libraries: CGAL, Grasshopper3D, VTK, Pyvista
• Familiar with lidar and mesh processing tools and algorithms: open3d, pcl, meshlab
• Familiar with Autodesk Revit, Dynamo, Rhino3D, Unity as well as Linux OS
• Background in image processing, computer vision and mixed reality is a plus
• Work permit in The Netherlands
